Led by Lee Seo-jin, who has transitioned from his role as a manager in 'Youn's Kitchen' to owning a small overseas snack bar, 'Jinny's Kitchen' is a brainchild of Na Young-seok, a producer renowned for his expertise in the realm of variety shows. The first season, set in Bacalar, Mexico, concluded its run in May last year, featuring a star-studded cast including Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, and BTS' V. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the show captured significant viewer interest, achieving a viewership rating of 6-9 percent according to Nielsen Korea.

As anticipation mounts for its second season in Iceland, familiar faces including Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik are set to return. Joining the team in place of BTS' V, who is currently fulfilling military service obligations, is Go Min-si. With Go Min-si adding a fresh perspective as the newest intern, viewers can expect an exciting dynamic within the group as they embark on their Icelandic adventure.
