Park Bo Gum at a cultural showcase

Actor Park Bo Gum, currently serving as Korea's honorary tourism ambassador, was recently seen attending artist Kim Soo Ja's exhibition 'Breathing - Seonhyewon' in Seoul. According to Sports Seoul reports, he appeared alongside Kim Hee Young, director of the T&C Foundation and domestic partner of SK Group chairman Chey Tae Won. Photos uploaded by Kim showed the two smiling, chatting, and even taking selfies, highlighting their warm connection during the cultural gathering.

A landmark exhibition in Seoul

The event marked Kim Soo Ja's return to Seoul exhibitions after nearly a decade. For the first time, her signature installation works were presented within a traditional Korean hanok structure, giving visitors a unique experience that blended heritage and contemporary art. The project also served as the first Seoul initiative led by Kim Hee Young's T&C Foundation through the Fodo Museum.

Seonhyewon reborn as a cultural venue

Seonhyewon, the location of the exhibition, holds historical significance as the former residence of SK's founding chairman. Once used as an educational venue for nurturing corporate leaders, it was reimagined this year as a public cultural space. The initiative underscores SK's investment in cultural development while opening the doors of heritage sites to the public.

Boost for Korean tourism

Park Bo Gum's presence at such events connects art and tourism, strengthening his role as Korea's honorary tourism ambassador. The Korea Tourism Organization highlights his contribution to promoting Korea as an attractive travel destination, using his influence to showcase cultural experiences beyond K-pop and film. By appearing at meaningful art events, he emphasizes how tradition and modern creativity shape Korea's global image.
