The upcoming series 'Parasyte: The Grey' unveils a captivating glimpse into its world with newly released stills featuring an ensemble cast including Jeon So Nee, Goo Kyo Hwan, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo, and Kim In Kwon.
Drawing inspiration from the renowned manga series 'Parasyte' by Hitoshi Iwaaki, this thrilling adaptation delves into a world where mysterious parasitic life-forms descend upon Earth from the depths of outer space.
Their sinister agenda? To thrive by controlling human hosts and consuming their essence.
In the unveiled stills, the spotlight falls on Jeong Su In, portrayed by Jeon So Nee, whose life takes a bizarre turn when she finds herself entwined with the parasitic entity known as Heidi. From her ordinary routines to her gradual transformation into the parasitic being, the images tease a compelling portrayal of dual personalities.
Accompanying Su In on her journey is Seol Kang Woo, portrayed by Goo Kyo Hwan, a man on a mission to locate his missing sister while hunting down parasitic threats. In the images, Kang Woo emanates a distinct aura, characterized by his piercing gaze and taut facial expressions.
Lee Jung Hyun steps into the shoes of Choi Jun Kyung, the leader of Team Grey, a specialized unit dedicated to eliminating parasitic threats. As a skilled profiler and determined operative, Jun Kyung's unwavering dedication hints at the challenges that lie ahead in the battle against the parasites.
Rounding out the ensemble are Kwon Hae Hyo as Chul Min, a steadfast detective offering support to Su In, and Kim In Kwon as police sergeant Won Seok, Chul Min's reliable partner. Their role in the series is safeguarding Su In, a being caught between humanity and parasitic nature.

Director Yeon Sang Ho offers insight into the thematic depth of 'Parasyte: The Grey', expressing, “’Parasyte: The Grey’ is ultimately a story about coexistence. It will make viewers ponder about coexistence within organizations and individuals within organizations”, as reported by Soompi. Meanwhile, 'Parasyte: The Grey' is scheduled for its Netflix premiere on April 5.
