'Parasyte: The Grey' teaser introduces Jeon So Nee and Koo Kyo Hwan battling mysterious parasites

The upcoming spine-chilling drama, ‘Parasyte: The Grey’, features a stellar cast including Koo Kyo Hwan, Jeon So Nee, and Lee Jung Hyun. This series is adapted from the well-known manga ‘Parasite’ by Hitoshi Iwaaki, which has already seen success in both anime and live-action formats.

Set to premiere on April 5, ‘Parasyte: The Grey’ follows the harrowing tale of alien parasites landing on Earth with the intent of seizing control over humanity by infiltrating their bodies. As the parasites morph unsuspecting humans into monstrous beings, a desperate battle for survival begins.

In the recently released teaser and poster, it shows a glimpse of the chilling reality facing mankind as the parasites assert their dominance and the struggle for supremacy unfolds. At the heart of the narrative lies Koo Kyo Hwan's character, a man trying to locate his missing sister amidst the chaos, only to find himself entangled in a fierce confrontation with the parasitic invaders.

Standing in opposition to the parasitic menace is Lee Jung Hyun's character, leading ‘The Grey’, an anti-parasite group dedicated to combating the alien threat. Meanwhile, Jeon So Nee portrays a woman who finds herself host to one of these insidious parasites, forging an uneasy coexistence within her own body.

The show is helmed by renowned director Yeon Sang Ho, known for his work on hit projects like ‘Train to Busan’ and ‘Hellbound’, along with co-writer Ryu Yong Jae famous for his work in ‘Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area’, ‘My Holo Love’, ‘Monstrous’, ‘Peninsula’, and more.
