Scheduled to commence filming for 'No Way Out' on October 21 and 22, Lee Sun Kyun was set to play a pivotal role in the thrilling K-drama, which had already begun its initial shoot. However, the unexpected drug allegations surrounding the actor left the production team in a bind. They had already embarked on the filming process, and Lee Sun Kyun's inability to immediately join the ongoing shoot due to the controversy posed a major setback.

'No Way Out' is a suspenseful thriller centred around the conflict between those seeking to kill and those striving to survive after a staggering 20.0 billion KRW (approximately 14.8 million USD) public murder bounty is announced in response to the release of a dangerous criminal. Lee Sun Kyun was cast as Baek Jung Shik, a police officer entrusted with the responsibility of protecting citizens from these perilous criminals. The series also boasts an ensemble cast of accomplished actors, including Yoo Jae Myung, Yum Jung Ah, Kim Mu Yeol, and Lee Kwang Soo.

Given the allegations and reports revolving around the Parasite star, it is highly probable that the production company will need to find a replacement for his character in order to continue with the filming process.
