'The Outlaws' actor Ma Dong Seok and Ye Jung Hwa announce plans for belated wedding celebration

Ma Dong Seok, the renowned actor, and Ye Jung Hwa, the entertainer, announced plans for their belated wedding ceremony. Revealed by a representative from their agency, Big Punch Entertainment, the couple is set to exchange vows in an intimate affair. The representative stated, “Ma Dong Seok and Ye Jung Hwa will hold a private wedding ceremony in May”, as reported by Soompi.

Previously, Ma Dong Seok made a surprise revelation about his marital status during the 12th annual Beautiful Artist Awards on October 20, 2022. Accepting the prestigious Film Artist Award, he graciously thanked his colleagues and, notably, expressed gratitude to his family and his wife, Ye Jung Hwa, stating, “Thank you to my ‘The Outlaws 2’ [‘The Roundup’] colleagues, as well as my family and my wife Ye Jung Hwa whom I love”.

While their relationship had been public since 2016, Ma Dong Seok and Ye Jung Hwa had kept their engagement and marriage under wraps. Addressing the actor's statement, their agency, Big Punch Entertainment at that time, clarified, “Ma Dong Seok and Ye Jung Hwa registered their marriage last year. Due to their busy schedules, they plan to hold a wedding at a later time”.

Now, the couple is ready to celebrate their love surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The upcoming ceremony will be a private affair, attended solely by their families, close relatives, colleagues, and cherished acquaintances. Ye Jung Hwa, ever the supportive partner, has stood steadfastly by Ma Dong Seok's side. Recently, she accompanied him on promotional activities for his upcoming film, ‘The Roundup: Punishment’, which is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on April 24.
