Lim Young Woong, BLACKPINK, NewJeans score big in December star brand reputation rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute has just shared the star brand reputation rankings for December, giving us a peek into the most popular stars of the month! To come up with these rankings, the institute looked at how much the stars were talked about in the media, how involved consumers were with them, their interactions, and how aware the community was of them. They gathered all this information from November 30 to December 31, using big data.

The star that shone the brightest this month was singer Lim Young Woong. His brand reputation index shot up to 7,987,130, a significant 14.23 percent increase from November. The popular group BLACKPINK snagged the third spot, with a brand reputation index of 5,561,430. Their score skyrocketed by 49.96 percent compared to November. NewJeans made a stylish entrance at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,476,917 for December. And Jung Woo Sung secured the fifth spot. His brand reputation index saw an incredible 192.97 percent increase from last month, reaching 5,256,202 for December.
