Lee Naeun's return to the small screen in the upcoming drama ‘Crash’ marks another step in her acting career, despite facing past controversies. Scheduled to premiere in May, ‘Crash’ delves into the gritty world of the Traffic Crime Investigation Team (TCI), focusing on car-related crimes such as insurance fraud and retaliatory driving. Led by acclaimed actors Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, and Heo Sung-tae, and directed by Park Joon-woo, known for his work on ‘Taxi Driver’ Season 1, the drama is going to deliver intense and thrilling storytelling.

ENA confirmed the same, "It is true that Lee Naeun will be starring in ‘Crash.'” While her agency, Namoo Actors stated, “Lee Naeun is scheduled to play an active role as the main character of an episode in ‘Crash.'”
In ‘Crash’, Lee Naeun takes on a role as a crime victim in select episodes. Though her appearance may not be extensive, industry insiders anticipate that she will leave a lasting impression with her performance. Naeun's involvement in the drama is attributed to her connection with the production team, including director Park Joon-woo.
Despite facing challenges in the past, Lee Naeun is focused on her acting career. She made a comeback to television after three years with the current Friday-Saturday drama ‘Flex X Cop’.
