Lee Jong-suk might return to our screens after a two-year break, as he considers a role in the upcoming drama ‘I'm Against My Romance.’ This information comes from broadcasting officials on November 21st, who shared that the actor is thinking about taking on the male lead role offered by the production team.
‘I'm Against My Romance’ revolves around ex-lovers deciding to give their relationship another shot. As they reunite, they face the question of whether it's a continuation of their past or the start of something entirely new.
The drama has sparked excitement as it comes from the talented director Lee Eung-bok, known for hit shows like ‘Secret,’ ‘Descendants of the Sun,’ ‘Goblin,’ ‘Mr. Sunshine,’ ‘Jirisan,’ and the Netflix series ‘Sweet Home.’
Lee Jong-suk has been proposed for the role of Kim Tae-kyung, the male lead characterised by his sharp instincts and a strong sense of justice. Tae-kyung, a former lover of the carefree daycare teacher Hong Je-bi, rediscovers love after a decade of separation. Actress Go Min-si, recognised for her roles in ‘Love Alarm’ and ‘Sweet Home,’ is a strong contender for the female lead, Hong Je-bi.
