‘KPop Demon Hunters’ has been setting new records left and right. And now, this animated film loved by many has become the most-watched film of all time on an OTT platform!The hit animated film created by Maggie Kang and Chris Applehans was first released on Netflix. According to reports from Tudum, the film has become the most-viewed film on the said OTT platform of all time. The film managed to reach 236 million total views worldwide, breaking the record that was previously held by ‘Red Notice’ for the past three years. The Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot starrer had managed to score a viewership of 230.9 million views within the first 13 weeks of its release on the platform. While the film was initially only meant for online release, owing to its massive success, it made it to the theatres for two days only. Even in that short period, it garnered a lot of success. Further, the sing-along theatre release was held at the Paris Theatre, which also scored a massive box office win in the same week. The film’s popularity does not end there! Songs from the project, such as ‘Golden’, ‘Soda Pop’, and ‘Your Idol’, have all managed to top music charts all across the world. These songs also went viral, prompting fans to make their own covers of them.The film follows the story of a trio of demon hunters who promote themselves as a girl group called HUNTRIX. As they try to keep the world safe, a demon boy group by the name Saja Boys enters the scene with the mission to ruin their plan and destroy them in order to feed their king, Gwi-ma.
