Netflix's animated hit 'KPop Demon Hunters' made history at the 98th Academy Awards after its golden run at the Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards. The film, on Thursday, scored a double nomination for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song titled 'Golden'.

'Golden' nomined for Best Song
'Golden' is performed by the fictitious girl-band Huntr/x, with EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami lending their voices to the track. In the Best Song category, 'Golden' will battle 'Train Dreams' from the film of the same name, 'Dear Me' from 'Diane Warren: Relentless', 'I Lied To You' from 'Sinners' and 'Sweet Dreams Of Joy' from 'Viva Verdi!'
'KPop Demon Hunters' nominated for Best Animated Film
The film was confirmed as eligible for the 2026 Best Animated Feature category last year. In the Best Animated Film category, it will face off against 'Arco', 'Elio', 'Little Amélie or the Character of Rain' and 'Zootopia 2'.
