Jun Ji Hyun’s agency to take strict legal action against false divorce rumours

Actress Jun Ji Hyun’s talent agency Culture Depot has now issued an official statement rubbishing the ongoing divorce rumours with banker husband, Choi Jun Hyuk.
Promising strict legal action against false reports about Jun Ji Hyun and her family matters, it read, “We would like to provide our position on actress Jun Ji Hyun's rumours of divorce raised by 'Garo Sero Institute' yesterday (June 2).We clarify that all of the content mentioned by this broadcast is entirely false. Currently, false information is being spread unfiltered via online portals, and we have confirmed instances of malicious rumours being composed and spread with ill-intention, by outlets such as 'Garo Sero Institute' and others. As a result, in order to bring the complete truth to light and put to rest all of the exaggerated rumours, we plan to take strict legal action against the spread of false rumours, including media outlet articles, malicious comments, etc."
The source of the rumour seems to be the hosts of the Garo Sero Institute Youtube channel who claimed that the actress and her husband have been separated since December 2020, while reportedly her husband has already moved out of their house.
According to the reports, the alleged divorce is due to Choi Jun Hyuk’s affair, however, the ‘Legend Of The Blue Sea’ actress isn’t favouring divorce due to the fear of bringing bad press to her career and the lives of her two sons.
On 13th April 2012, Jun Ji Hyun tied the knot with her long time friend, Choi Joon Hyuk who is the grandson of ace hanbok designer Lee Young Hee and the son of designer Lee Jung Woo.
Their grand wedding took place at the popular Shilla Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. The couple is blessed with two children.
