Netflix has just released a nerve-wracking trailer for ‘Gyeongseong Creature Part 1,’ featuring the much-awaited collaboration of K-drama sensations Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, and Wi Ha Joon. The historical horror is scheduled to premiere on December 22, promising a spine-tingling journey into the depths of fear.


Set against the backdrop of 1945 Seoul during the Japanese rule over colonial South Korea, ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ follows the gripping tale of Jang Tae Sang, portrayed by Park Seo Joon, a wealthy and knowledgeable individual considered a reliable source of information. Alongside him is the resilient Yoon Chae Ok, played by Han So Hee, an expert in finding missing persons with a formidable skill set in self-defense, forged through a challenging upbringing.



The newly unveiled trailer hints at a sinister plot unfolding within a hospital, leading the protagonists to join forces as they witness innocent lives falling victim to an unknown terror. The pair, initially at odds, form a truce driven by a shared purpose to confront the malevolent forces plaguing their city.


Directed by Jung Dong Yoon, known for his work on the popular workplace sports drama ‘Hot Stove League,’ and scripted by Kang Eun Kyun, acclaimed for hits like the ‘Dr. Romantic’ series, ‘Where Stars Land,’ and ‘What Happens to My Family,’ the show boasts a great cast. In addition to the leading trio, seasoned actors such as Kim Hae Sook, Soo Hyun, Jo Han Chul, and others contribute their talents to bring this chilling historical drama to life.
