The popular Korean variety showPhysical 100’ has been confirmed to be getting U.S. & European edition remakes. The spinoffs will feature 100 contestants from the U.S. and 100 contestants from Europe.

‘Physical 100’ spinoffs on the way

As per reports shared by Netflix, ‘Physical 100’ will soon be getting its U.S. and European spinoffs. The OTT platform recently put out a casting call online for the show, seeking 100 contestants from the U.S. They have also shared that a European spinoff will also be produced as well in lieu of the show’s global popularity.The official report read, “The search for the new batch of 100 American competitors is on. If you’re tough as nails and take no rest days, click here to apply now for a chance to participate”.

Continent spinoff to premiere later this year

Earlier this year, it was also reported that a continent spinoff called ‘Physical: Asia’ is also in production, featuring big names from across the whole Asian region. No date has been confirmed for the show, however, according to earlier reports, it will be airing online in the coming few months.A unique factor about this show would be the fact that the contestants would be paired up to form teams on the basis of their country.

About ‘Physical 100’

‘Physical 100’ featured a total of 100 contestants from South Korea who competed against one another in a competition of health and fitness. The show, so far has two seasons, and upon its release online on OTT platforms managed to garner a lot of popularity and fan following. Top athletes, celebrities, weightlifters, and even military professionals all came together to compete against one another for the ultimate title. Some renowned names that feature on the show include Yun Sung Bin, Yang Hak Seon, and Hong Beom Seok.
