Debuting in theaters on February 22, ‘Exhuma’ swiftly surged past the 10 million viewer mark within a mere 32 days, marking a historic achievement for Korean occult horror cinema. Surpassing all expectations, the film continues to dominate the box office, reaching the 11 million moviegoers milestone in just 40 days.

Despite facing fierce competition from new releases like ‘Troll Factory’ and ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’, ‘Exhuma’ remains a formidable force, clinching the top spot in the weekend box office with an audience turnout of 418,002 from March 29 to 31. Showbox, the production company behind the film, commemorated this remarkable feat by sharing a celebratory group photo featuring stars Choi Min Sik, Yoo Hae Jin, Kim Go Eun, director Jang Jae Hyun, and a life-size cutout of Lee, since he is currently serving in the military.
