As per Nielsen Korea, nationwide viewership rating for the third episode of 'Namib' reached 2.2 percent, where it surpassed 0.6 percent as compared to the viewership rating gained by its previous episode of 1.6 percent. It shows that the drama series can keep the audience glued to the screen.

'Namib' tells the story of Kang Soo Hyun, ex-CEO of an entertainment agency, who meets a trainee for an agency, Yoo Jin Woo, who one day found himself expelled due to some circumstances. Eventually, these two characters in the film cross paths on their respective journeys to meet their respective dreams. Weathered but still hopeful, Kang Soo Hyun sets out to restart her career as an actress; full of young ambitions, Yoo Jin Woo battles through his survival in the Korean entertainment world. This drama premise and character-driven narrative really resonate with the audience; it's applauded for emotional depth and great performances. For example, Go Hyun Jung is much praised for the strength and vulnerability that the actress portrayed in the role of Kang Soo Hyun, while Ryeoun brought charisma and heart into the role of Yoo Jin Woo.
