Park Hyung-sik as Yeo Jeong-woo, is swoonworthy, making women-go-weak-in-the-knees doctor.His swift ways and charming personality make him a popular doctor, until tragedy strikes in the form of a medical accident. Park Hyung-sik has to take the fall and decides to escape the spotlight, while battling the legal case.

On the other hand, Park Shin-hye as Nam Ha-neul, essays the role of a hardworking doctor, who faces a lot of battles in life. Eventually she is diagnosed with depression and decides to quit the profession for her betterment. Fate brings the duo together, and we are introduced to their past.
Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye used to be school enemies, forever battling for the top spot. However, fate has brought them together in what is described as their 'worst slump'. Supporting and helping each other, the duo unexpectedly fall in love.
Creators Paek Sun-woo and Oh Hyeon-jong promise a heartwarming narrative, set against the backdrop of a medical drama. 'Dr Slump' also stars Yoon Bak and Kong Seong-ha in pivotal roles. This Korean drama is all set to premiere on January 27, 2024, and will air every Saturday and Sunday.
