It has finally been confirmed that '
Cruel Story of Office Romance
,' the new romance drama by JTBC, will feature
Park Min Young

Song Kang, Girl's Day's
Yura
, and
Yoon Park
as its lead characters.
The plot of the drama, directed by Cha Young Hoon, will revolve around the professional and personal lives of colleagues at the Korea Meteorological Administration.
Actress Park Min Young will reportedly play the role of Jin Ha Kyung. Jin's character is smart, disciplined and highly organized, as she understands the importance of keeping her professional and private life separate. However, due to her traits, she is referred to as an 'outsider by choice.'
On the other hand, actor Song Kang will be playing the lead role of
Lee
Si Woo, a free-spirited character. Lee is someone who always brings creative ideas to the table, is goal-oriented, and boasts of an impressive IQ of 150.
Yoon Park will play another lead character named, Han Ki Joon, a handsome and clever guy with great convincing power. However, as he has lived his entire life as a perfect student, he confronts difficulties with failure. It is difficult for Han to accept the reality due to which he also struggles in the early days of his career.
Last but not least, actress Yura will be stepping into the shoes of a daily weather reporter, Chae Yoo Jin, whilst expecting something more from her job. At first, she will be shown disappointed with her job role, but later it will be fun to watch her growing interest in it.
The creators have decided to film the drama this summer and are expecting it to premiere in 2022.
