Actress Song Ha Yoon, famously known for playing the antagonist in the popular K-drama ‘Marry My Husband’, has been under fire over bullying allegations. According to the latest report, she is now involved in an ongoing legal battle with the alleged victim. The actress’s legal representatives issued a statement after the victim alleged that she had made “demands”.
Son Ha Yoon denies all allegations of making “demands”The person who had previously accused Ha Yoon of bullying during her school years had stated how the actress’s legal team had shared certain demands with her. This included a public apology, along with an admission that all allegations against the artist were false.
As per reports from the K-media news outlet Sports KH, the actress’s legal representation recently issued an official statement regarding the matter. They shared that the alleged victim, who has only been labelled as Miss A, came back to South Korea after living in the States only due to the fact that they willingly paid for all of her expenses.
Their statement read, “The reason A decided to enter Korea was due to Song Ha Yoon’s side taking the unusual step of covering all expenses — including airfare, hotel, and transportation — to ensure A’s prompt return and participation in the investigation. We are fully prepared to verify each allegation raised since A’s entry into Korea and respond accordingly”.
More about the bullying allegationsThe allegations against the actress first came to light in April 2024, when the whistleblower shared their statement on the program ‘Incident Room’ in April last year. The star faced a lot of backlash after the allegations went viral online. She was also dropped from a lot of projects.
After almost a year with no retaliation or other statements, Song announced that she will be filing a lawsuit against the alleged victim in March this year. She cited that for the past year, she and her legal team had been working on collecting evidence in order to prove her innocence in the matter.
