In the latest episode, viewers witness the female lead, played by Kim Ji Won, grappling with memory loss. As she seeks to uncover her past, she finds herself following her ex-husband, portrayed by Kim Soo Hyun, and observing him with his loving family. Accompanying her on this journey is her loyal secretary, played by Apink's Yoon Bomi. Hong Hae In's secretary draws a parallel between her curiosity about her ex-husband and her admiration for BTS. She explains that love often begins with pondering, 'What's this person?' and becoming intrigued. This curiosity, she reveals, is what led her to become a fan of BTS.

Furthermore, ‘Queen of Tears’ has been a runaway success, surpassing expectations and breaking records with its soaring viewership, even eclipsing the achievements of the beloved drama ‘Crash Landing on You’. On April 23, the production house revealed that the final episodes of the series would begin airing 10 minutes earlier than usual and would feature extended runtime. Additionally, the drama will offer two special episodes following the finale, scheduled for May 4 and May 5. During these special segments, the cast will engage with fans by answering questions and sharing amusing comments from viewers.

Behind the scenes, the screenplay of ‘Queen of Tears’ is crafted by Park Ji Eun, celebrated for her contributions to hit dramas like ‘Crash Landing on You’, ‘The Legend of the Blue Sea’, and ‘My Love from the Star’. Helming the directorial duties are Kim Hee Won and Jang Young Woo, known for their outstanding work on popular series such as ‘Vincenzo’, ‘Crowned Clown’, and ‘Bulgasal’, among others.
