Park Tae Jun and Choi Soo Jung have officially gone their separate ways after almost 4 years of marriage. The two dated for quite some time before tying the knot. The news has come as a surprise to netizens.According to reports from OSEN, the couple had initially filed for divorce last year and even completed their paperwork to officiate the split.Tae Jun’s responseSoon after the news was reported by many outlets, the cartoonist and former actor talked about his divorce with Soo Jung, stating that the breakup was mutual, and that “It is true that I divorced Choi Soo-jung. Discussions began early last year, and by August last year, the divorce mediation was established, and the paperwork was completed”.

Divorce settlement dispute

However, amidst news of their divorce, reports also claimed that the couple is involved in some sort of divorce settlement. A statement from the report also read that, "Park Tae-jun and Choi Soo-jung are currently in the midst of a property division lawsuit."He has also denied any and all allegations over the property dispute lawsuit. He also added, "I didn't think it necessary to disclose this. It’s not good information. I kept silent because I was concerned about the impact on the other party."

He is also known for his 2014 webtoon, Lookism, which managed to go viral online.Choi Soo Jung, on the other hand, worked as an idol. She debuted in the entertainment industry back in 2010, as a part of the Chinese and Korean girl group ‘Lotte Girls’. The idol continued promoting with the group till 2014, when all members decided to part ways and disband the group. Then, her next breakthrough came with her support role in the drama ‘Recalled’.
