‘Tere Ishq Mein’ released at the box office on November 28, 2025. The film made Rs. 161.96 crore net worldwide, as per Sacnilk. Now, the romance drama is in the spotlight for its much anticipated OTT release. It is directed by Aanand L. Rai, the screenplay and dialogues are penned by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, while A. R. Rahman composed the film's soundtrack.

Dhanush plays the part of flight lieutenant Shankar Gurukka, and Kriti Sanon portrays Mukti Beniwal.
However, Kriti explained that director Aanand L. Rai had envisioned Mukti very differently from what was apparent on paper.

The film delves into the complex themes of ego-driven conflict, manipulation, and emotional dependency. The story follows Shankar and Mukti, who met in college. Mukti was conducting a PhD research on him. She then breaks up with him. After some time, she ends up with someone else, and Shankar joins the Indian Air Force. What Kriti Sanon’s thought of Mukti’s character
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Kriti shared her first reaction to the script and admitted that the character left her unsettled. She said, “When I read the script, and the way she was written, was completely feeling negative. In fact, we were shooting in February for the film. In January, I read the whole script and I called Aanand sir and I said, ‘I don’t like her. I’m not liking her.’ And it was giving me anxiety. I was not liking this girl.
