Pooja Bhatt REACTS to rumours claiming Alia Bhatt is her daughter for the first time; calls it 'idiotic and absurd'

Pooja Bhatt, who was last seen in the Bigg Boss OTT 2, recently spoke about the outlandish rumour that claimed Alia Bhatt is her daughter. The siblings have an age gap of about 21 years.
Calling it 'idiotic and absurd', Pooja told Siddharth Kannan in a recent interview that this is not new in our country where people talk about relationships with their daughter, sister-in-law and others.According to her, she doesn't even want to give that topic dignity by talking about it.
She also added a witty dialogue saying that such rumours only showcase the personality of the person who is spreading the rumour rather than the one who is affected by it.
Mahesh Bhatt welcomed Pooja Bhatt in 1972 from his first marriage with Lorraine Bright aka Kiran Bhatt. Kiran and Mahesh met when he was in school. They got married when she was 20 and Mahesh was 21. They welcomed Pooja soon after. Their relationship took a sour turn after Mahesh met Parveen Babi and they got into the relationship.
Mahesh then met Soni Razdan and fell in love with her. They tied the knot and welcomed their older daughter Shaheen Bhatt and had Alia Bhatt in 1993.
