Pavail Gulati shoots in sub-zero temperatures in Serbia

Pavail Gulati, who got his big break in Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad, is on a professional high. After receiving positive feedback for his portrayal of Vikram Sabharwal in the film, which starred Taapsee Pannu as his wife, the actor will soon be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s debut web series, titled Faadu. The unit is currently shooting a crucial portion of the series in Serbia. The team reached there on March 7 and is shooting in the sub-zero temperatures.
Talking about his experience of shooting in Serbia, he says, “We have travelled in cars, boats, and trains, almost everything.We have covered almost all modes of transportation to reach the country (smiles). Let me tell you that the temperature is minus two and it’s snowing. It’s beautiful, but it is biting cold. However, I can’t complain as I am shooting with a wonderful crew. All of us have bonded so beautifully during the course of the project. We have been through a lot while shooting for Faadu…it has been a tough shoot.”
Pavail is particularly impressed with his director, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. He calls working with her a learning experience. “Working with Ashwiny ma’am has been an amazing and enriching experience. Apart from being my director, she has now become a mentor and a friend. She is a wonderful human being and I get to learn a lot while working with her. In short, it’s been ‘faadu’ working with her. I am looking forward to being directed by her again.”
