Karan Johar is all set to return with the controversial couch with more coffee, candid confessions and controversies. “The biggest movie stars from across India will return to the couch to spill the beans while drinking some koffee. There will be games, there will be rumours put to rest - and there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we've all been through over the last few years,” promised KJo with the seventh season of the show. When Salman graced Karan Johar’s Koffee couch, he made a rather shocking confession. During the rapid fire round on the show’s fourth season, Salman Khan had candidly confessed that he was a virgin. His statement soon made headlines and even left host Karan Johar in shock.

Deepika Padukone: Ranbir should endorse a condom brand
When on the couch, conversations can never be censored! One such incident happened in 2010 when Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor shared the couch and went on to bash their ex-flame, Ranbir Kapoor. Sonam credited DP for hanging onto him for so long and when Karan asked Deepika, what would she like to gift to Ranbir, the actress brazenly quipped, “I would like to gift a pack of condoms to Ranbir because he uses them too much." When asked one advice she would like to give to Ranbir, Deepika added, “Endorse a condom brand."

Kangana Ranaut refuses to mince her words and on her maiden appearance on the couch, the actress took a straight dig at the host! She tagged Karan Johar as the ‘flag bearer of nepotism’ when she appeared on the show in 2017. The actress ignited the nepotism debate and accused KJo of launching only star kids. Since then, Kangana has continued to take sly digs at the filmmaker.

Kareena Kapoor: Where did Priyanka get her accent from?
Nearly a decade ago, when Bebo appeared on KJo’s controversial couch, she couldn’t resist making a sly comment on her contemporary Priyanka Chopra. When the host questioned Kareena what she would like to ask Priyanka, Bebo said, "I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from." Priyanka, who later appeared on the same season, retorted to Kareena stating, “The same place her boyfriend (Saif Ali Khan) gets it from." And that’s that… no catfight ensued, rather the duo graced the couch together later in 2019.

Emraan Hashmi: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ‘plastic’
Emraan Hashmi made one of the most shocking comments on KJo’s show, when he called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 'plastic'. During the rapid-fire round, when Karan asked Emraan to say the first word that pops up in his head while he names actresses, Emraan came up with ‘plastic’ for Aishwarya. This landed Emraan in a controversy and reports also suggested that Aishwarya had rejected Emraan starrer ‘Baadshaho’ because of this remark. On his part, Emraan maintained that the statement was made in jest and was all for the hamper. The actor also reportedly stated that he would apologise to Aishwarya and that he was a big fan of the actress. And when Aishwarya was asked about the worst comment she had heard, the actress was quick to reply, ‘fake and plastic’.
