Adah Sharma's film, ‘The Kerala Story,’ is currently garnering positive reviews post its OTT release. The movie also did brisk business when it released in theatres last year.

Directed by Sudipto Sen, ‘The Kerala Story’ made waves for its narrative despite being made on a modest budget of Rs 15-20 crore.The film's global earnings surpassed Rs 300 crore throughout the country. In key roles, Adah Sharma's stellar performance, supported by Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhi Idnani, and Devadarshini, contributed to the film's acclaim.
The storyline revolves around four young college girls who fall victim to brainwashing and coercion, leading them to join ISIS. The film's portrayal of approximately 32,000 women from Kerala being converted to Islam and taken to Syria and Iraq sparked controversy and political discussions.
