Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards 2020: Tripti Dimri bags Best Actor in Web Original Film Female for ‘Bulbbul’

2020 to recognise the blooming talents in the

OTT platform

. As per the latest updates from the ongoing carpet event, it’s OTT debutant Tripti Damri who won the Best Actor in Web Original Film Female for her excellent performance in ‘

Bulbbul

’.

Tripti was nominated in the Best Actor in Web Original Film Female category alongside Kiara Advani (Guilty), Radhika Apte (

Raat Akeli Hai

), Saiyami Kher (Choked - Paisa Bolta Hai), and Sayani Gupta (Posham Pa).

The actress seemed quite excited while receiving the award in extravagant black separates that made heads turn on the red carpet.

Talking about ‘Bulbbul’, the OTT film was helmed by filmmaker Anvita Dutt Guptan while produced by ace actor Anushka Sharma. Alongside Tripti Damri, it also starred Avinash Tiwary, Paoli Dam, and Rahul Bose in lead roles where the story revolved around a child bride who grows into an enigmatic woman ruling over her family while hiding her painful past as several mysterious murders of men plague her village.
