Top shows to binge-watch this week on Prime Videos

Trying to figure out what to watch on Prime Video this week? There’s actually a lot to pick from — whether you want something that’ll get your heart racing, mess with your head, or just pull you into a good old-fashioned legal showdown. The lineup on this OTT platform right now is all over the map in the best way: action, crime, some wild animation, and dramas that really hit you. The best thing about the shows on this streaming platform? They don’t just tell a story — they hook you, episode after episode, with sharp writing and characters you actually care about. Some are quick to binge, others have a little more meat on the bone, but all of them are worth your time. New stuff, old favorites — doesn’t really matter. Here are the top five picks for January 19–23, 2026, and you’ll have a great time binge-watching them.

2/6

‘Steal’

‘Steal’ is the big new original out January 21. The main character, Zara (played by Sophie Turner), is just grinding through her day at a pension fund office when a crew of violent thieves bursts in and drags her — and her coworker Luke — into their heist plan. But there’s more going on than just a robbery. Who’s really behind it, and what’s the real motive? Every episode of ‘Steal’ cranks up the tension. The heist setup is just the start; the mystery keeps you hooked, and Sophie Turner really brings it. Fast-paced, twisty, and a little more emotional than you’d expect from a crime drama.

3/6

‘Reacher’

If you’re into action and crime stories, ‘Reacher’ should be at the top of your list. Alan Ritchson plays Jack Reacher, a former military cop who just can’t seem to avoid trouble. In season 3 (based on the book ‘Persuader’), he goes undercover to take down a criminal organization and save a DEA agent. Every season of ‘Reacher’ is its own wild ride. You get brutal fights, smart plots, and a main character who somehow manages to be both intimidating and likable. The show sticks close to the books, so fans will be happy, but it’s also just a blast to watch straight through.

4/6

‘Undone’

This one’s a trip — an animated drama that mixes mystery and fantasy. Alma survives a horrible car crash, and suddenly she can mess with time. She starts digging into her family’s secrets, especially what really happened to her dad. The animation style is unlike anything else: rotoscoped, so it’s surreal and dreamlike. ‘Undone’ is short, it’s smart, and it looks amazing. If you want something you can finish in a weekend, but that’ll stick in your head long after, ‘Undone’ is your perfect pick.

5/6

‘Goliath’

In ‘Goliath’, Billy Bob Thornton plays Billy McBride, a lawyer who’s seen better days. He takes on massive corporations, crooked lawyers, and cases nobody in their right mind would touch. Across four seasons, he gets tangled up in big conspiracies and legal battles that test everything he’s got. The courtroom drama here feels real and gritty. The show digs deep into its characters, and the cases always keep you guessing. If you like seeing the underdog scrap it out with the big guys, you’ll fly through ‘Goliath’.

6/6

‘Counterpart’

‘Counterpart’ is a sci-fi thriller with J.K. Simmons as Howard Silk, a quiet UN worker who suddenly finds out his agency is guarding a secret portal to another dimension. There’s another Howard over there, and their lives get twisted together fast. Expect espionage, conspiracies, and lots of questions about who you really are. ‘Counterpart’ is smart, suspenseful, and the performances are top-notch. If you like your sci-fi with a dose of paranoia and some real character drama, ‘Counterpart’ won’t let you down.
