The Last of Us actor Bella Ramsey is signed up for BBC’s prison drama, Time Season 2 together with Jodie Whittaker

Bella Ramsey, the teenager who acted with Pedro Pascal in the hit TV show, The Last Of Us has been signed up for the BBC prison drama, Time Season 2 along with Jodie Whittaker.
Season 1 of the hard-hitting show by BBC bagged two BAFTA awards. The two actors will play inmates in a women’s prison along with Tamara Lawrance who has acted in films likes The Silent Twins. A character from the old star cast, Siobhan Finneran will once again play the role of the prison chaplain.

All three actors will play women convicts who are sent to prison on the same day to serve their sentences. Jodie Whittaker said she was thrilled to be a part of such a talented cast directed by an “extraordinary team”. Ramsey who really gets into her parts proclaimed that she is happy to “experience the world” through the character of Kelsey for a few months.

Filming will begin in England and will be starting soon in and around Liverpool according to the BBC. Season 1 of the series portrayed life in a men’s prison and won awards at BAFTA for Best Mini Series as well as the Best Actor award for Sean Bean.
