Succession’s final season with Brian Cox playing a Rupert Murdoch-like character premieres soon

When hit TV shows go on getting renewed from season to season, they become more real for both the viewers and the actors. Brian Cox, star of the hit show, Succession must have felt exactly that as he stepped on to the red carpet for the final season’s premiere. He ended up emulating the roar of his character Logan Roy, as he posed for pictures with the rest of the actors and production crew on the red carpet.
Season 4 will have the lead character Logan Roy getting into negotiations to sell off his media company to Lucas Matsson. The power struggles and family drama that ensue once the negotiations for the deal begin is the focus of the episodes of the new season.

Brian Cox told Reuters in an interview that the producers had decided to give the show a logical conclusion rather than drag it on long after its “sell by” date was over. The award-winning show which has won both Emmy and Golden Globe awards for its story and actors has been extremely popular on OTT and its previous three seasons enjoy a score of 8.8/10 based on a whopping 163,000 ratings on IMDb.

The show debuts this Sunday on OTT.
