The cast is feeling it more.Sadie Sink who plays Max spoke about her last days on set. She said those days were full of tears and strong feelings. She said wrapping her final scene was very hard. Sadie shared that everyone tried to support each other. Talking about the final cut she said “The Duffers did a good job of finding the right moments to end each of our characters' stories and to have a good scene to wrap on. One thing we all did was try to be there for each other on each other's last days.”

Crying was part of goodbye

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter Sadie shared that she cried a lot on her last day. She said it was not something she could stop. The actress explained how watching the finale together brought back memories. But she feels the real wave will hit when fans start watching. Sadie said “It's interesting. We all watched the finale last week and I thought that would be another wave of goodbye but I really think this period is about sharing it with the fans.” She added “I expect to have that second wave of emotion once the finale is actually streaming on Netflix.”
She also said “I cried so much that last day. I feel like I grieved it properly and I got it all out of my system. But I fear there's more coming.

Fans will feel it too

Sadie feels the goodbye is not finished yet. She believes the emotions will return once the show is out for everyone. She said this time is about sharing the ending with fans. The cast grew up together on this show. Many of them were kids when it started. Now they are adults. Saying goodbye feels like losing a part of life. Sadie said she feels grateful even though it hurts.
