‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’: All you need to know the true crime series
‘’ is an upcoming OTT series that has been creating a lot of buzz online. The will soon be hitting different platforms. Here is all you need to know about the show before its official release.
‘: Death in the Family’ is based on the story of the ‘Murdaugh Murders’, and follows the premise set around the double homicide case of a woman and her son. Their family is extremely wealthy and based in the plains of South Carolina. It will be explored in an eight-part mini-series, and will explore the mystery around the Murdaugh family and how this is not the only murder connected to the family.
The series has been inspired directly by the famous podcast titled ‘Murdaugh Murders Podcast’, created by none other than Mandy Matney. The series stars Jason Clarke, who will be playing the role of Alex Murdaugh, and Patricia Arquette, who will be playing Maggie Murdaugh. Johnny Berchtold, Will Harrison, J. Smith-Cameron, Gerald McRaney, and Noah Emmerich will also be joining the line up.
The series will be available for viewing from October 15 onwards. It will be there to stream and watch on Disney, and will run in an 8-part series. Three parts will be released on the initial date, and afterwards, single episodes will be shared on the platform every week. The episodes will be shared every week, every Wednesday. The official finale of the series will be shared on the platform on November 19.
Notably, the series will only be available on bundling sets, meaning that one would need to purchase the subscription along with another channel’s subscription.
