It's a wrap for ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5; the cast reflects on the journey

The cast of ‘Stranger Things’ announced that filming is now over for the awaited fifth season.

Noah Schnapp, the actor who plays Will Byers, posted touching thank-you messages to the Duffer Brothers and his co-stars for the lessons learned on the journey of the show. Finn Wolfhard said he was in shock and sorrow at the end of the filming process, stating how much he is going to miss his team. Both actors used their social media accounts to share behind-the-scenes photos of memorable experiences.

He shared his disbelief, saying that shooting for the final season lasted a year. He fondly remembered the early days when they were just a group of young, goofy people making something they thought was cool, not knowing what was in store for them. He was thankful for still standing alongside his friends and characters while sharing his hope that fans would love the upcoming season.

Noah also wrote a touching note, sharing the last scene with Will Byers. "Ten years of this life," he reflected, thanking everyone he had met and the lessons learned throughout the journey. Noah learned from the Duffer Brothers about the creative process. He was also touched by how his co-stars changed his life. He also learned that one must accept his uniqueness and maintain the innocence of a child, as he did from his co-stars.

He spoke out in retrospect to recount what kind of childhood experiences he had growing up, being an outsider in the light but also facing awkward and embarrassing moments. He says it was worth going through as he has his co-stars around him who understand him way better than anyone else; hence, Stranger Things was his lifelong dream come true. He thanks the Duffer Brothers for believing in him when he was just 10 years old and being a part of something so big.


With Season 4 ending with a dramatic moment-ports from the Upside Down opening in Hawkins and Max falling into a coma after a deadly encounter with Vecna, fans want to know what is going to happen. As Season 5 is kept on wraps, some teasers had said that it would feature a time jump with the season taking place in 1987-one year after Season 4 had ended.

Viewers have been eagerly waiting for the conclusion of the last chapter of their favorite series, ‘Stranger Things’, as it will put an end to the characters' stories.
