The real Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is back! 'Daredevil: Born Again,' Marvel’s much-anticipated series is all set to premiere on March 4, 2025. The series promises to bring a darker and grittier tone than ever before with nine episodes airing weekly. Originally planned as an 18-episode project it underwent significant changes during production, scaling down to nine episodes and retaining its narrative intensity.

The filming began in March 2023 but faced delays due to the industry-wide writers’ and actors’ strikes. These setbacks led to Marvel Studios taking a fresh approach, replacing initial showrunners Matt Corman and Chris Ord with Dario Scardapane. The production resumed in January 2024 and wrapped up by April.

The first glimpse of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ arrived in October 2024, teasing fans with scenes featuring Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). In one spine-chilling moment, Fisk declares, “It’s been some time, hasn’t it?”

The teaser also revealed the return of Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, and signature Daredevil action sequences. A full-length trailer unveiled at New York Comic-Con later heightened anticipation, showcasing Bullseye’s comeback, the introduction of White Tiger, and appearances by beloved characters Karen Page and Foggy Nelson.

The plot follows Daredevil as he continues his dual mission for justice both in court as attorney Matt Murdock and on the streets as a masked vigilante. Meanwhile Fisk, now a mayoral candidate in New York City strives to solidify his power. According to Marvel’s official synopsis, “As their pasts resurface, both men are set on an inevitable collision course.”

Set five years after the events of ‘Daredevil,’ the series delves deeper into the darkness that defined its predecessor. Actor Wilson Bethel, reprising his role as Bullseye confirmed the time jump, while Charlie Cox assured fans that the show would maintain its mature tone. “It’s darker, even more intense than the Netflix series,” Cox teased.

Joining the stellar cast is a mix of returning favorites and new faces. Charlie Cox leads as Daredevil, with Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. New characters include Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn and Kamar de los Reyes as White Tiger.

Prepare for a high-stakes clash between Daredevil and Fisk, where justice and ambition collide. Don’t miss the weekly episodes of ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ exclusively on Disney+, starting March 4, 2025.
