title and you have to applaud his effort! The 23 year old broke the official Guinness record of
'Most Straws Stuffed In The Mouth' by packing a staggering 459 drinking straws.
The earlier record, set by Simon Elmore eight years ago, was that of stuffing 400 straws in his mouth. The record stuck around for almost a decade but now an Indian has outdone him! The Guinness World Records uploaded a video last week of Maharana attempting the feat and filling his mouth with the insane amount of straws.
For the record attempt to be valid, Maharana had to ensure that the straws stayed in his mouth for 10 seconds without falling out.Also he was not allowed to use his hands to hold the straws but only to stuff them in his mouth. He was, however, allowed to use rubber bands to hold the straws in place.
Each straw must have a minimum diameter of 0.64 centimetres. That multiplied by 459 straws. That's a lot right? You do the math.
The mammoth attempth has left quite a few people amazed and well, disappointed.
