While some messages say he was shot dead, some others said that he was beaten up at home. Neither of them is true. The video in fact is from 2013 when he fell off a stage during an election rally in Lahore.
In 2013, TOI reported that Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan wounded his head after falling off a forklift that was taking him on to a stage at an election rally in Lahore. Khan fell from the forklift along with his security guards from a height of around 15 ft after losing balance as the lift was about to reach the top of the stage.
Although not much is known about where the rumours stemmed from, it appears that they started trickling down on popular messaging platform, WhatsApp.
