Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai completed a successful run of 12 years today. The show's producer Rajan Shahi along with lead actress Shivangi Joshi were seen performing a havan on the occasion. Shivangi was seen in a white suit during the pooja ceremony. Sitting in her lap was her onscreen son Kairav. Yeh Rishta started off as the story of Akshara played by Hina Khan and Naitik (Karan Mehra) but post leap, her daughter Naira took the story ahead with her onscreen husband Kartik.
