Taarak Mehta fame Sodhi aka Gurucharan Singh poses with a Rolls Royce in Dubai; a user comments, 'Aap ki Jeep ke saamne kuch bhi nahi hai' Popular TV sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' famed actor Gurucharan Singh Sodhi is no more a part of the show, but his stint as Sodhi is still remembered by one and all. Recently, a throwback photo of the actor with a Rolls Royce car made its way to social media and is now going viral. Notably, the picture was shared by him only in October when he had taken a trip to Dubai. After coming across the viral picture, several netizens rushed to the comment section and started posting hilarious comments. While one of the users wrote, 'Ab Sodhi garage par Rolls Royce bhi ati he', another one reminded the actor of his jeep from TMKOC as he commented 'Aap ki jeep ke samne kuch bhi nhi hai.' Another one wrote, 'Sodhi garage mein le jaake puri gaadi dismantle kardo.' Meanwhile, several other fans even showered their love upon him and urged the actor to return to the show. After being a part of the show for many years, Gurucharan Singh Sodhi quit 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' in the year 2020 after his father had undergone surgery. In a conversation with ETimes, he had opened up on the reason behind quitting the longest-running show and said, 'my Dad had undergone surgery around the time I quit the show. There were a few other things I had to address and life went on. There were a few other reasons I quit but don't want to talk about that. Corona tak jo bhi kaam kiya show par bahut achcha milkar jammkar kiya.' Speaking about returning to the show in the future, he said, 'God knows, I don't know. Agar rab ki marzi hogi toh I will return. But nothing as such for now. Last time too, I hadn't expected or planned, it just happened.' Notably, Gurucharan Singh, who played ‘Roshan Singh Sodhi’ left the show in 2013 but later returned in 2014. Currently, actor Balvinder Singh Suri is playing the role of Sodhi in the show.
