Is the popular TV show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' going off-air? Well, the reports suggest so. The makers of TKSS are reportedly pulling the plug on the comedy show for some time as the host of the show Kapil Sharma is unavailable to shoot episodes due to his upcoming USA tour. According to reports, Kapil, who has recently announced the USA and Canada tour, will begin in June and go on till the beginning of July. Other than this tour, the team also has a few other work commitments. Therefore, with all of it in hand, the makers have reportedly decided of taking a break from the show and then return with a new season a few months later. However, a few episodes will be pre-shot to continue entertaining fans before they go on a break. Notably, Kapil recently announced his US tour on Instagram, having around 8 shows in New Jersey, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, and Vancouver among other cities, starting from June 11. No doubt the news has definitely upset several fans, but the good news is that this time break would reportedly be a short one, probably a few weeks. However, there is no confirmation from either Kapil or the channel broadcasting the show about this yet. This is not the first time the show will be going off-air. When Kapil decided to take a break to spend some family time, the show got pulled off temporarily. While announcing the paternity break, the host-actor had then said he needs to 'be there at home with his wife to welcome their second baby'. Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma has been juggling between his comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, and the shoot of his upcoming movie with Nandita Das.
