Sushant Singh's Twitter account gets suspended again; actor reacts

Actor Sushant Singh often lands himself in controversies owing to his bold, unabashedly honest and strong views on issues concerning the country, that goes much beyond cinema. The fiercely vocal actor has now taken to Instagram to shed light on a matter concerning his official Twitter account. He shared a screenshot of his account which he isn't able to access. The message on the screenshot reads, 'Account Withheld @sushant_says's account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand.' On top of the screenshot, Sushant writes, 'Medal of honour once again Thanks @narendramodi'. Along with his not so subtle message for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sushant also had a message for the microblogging site. It read, 'My Twitter account @sushant_says has been withheld again. Hey @twitter at least have the decency to send a notice. Thanks @narendramodi @bjp4india @rssorg_official for letting me know that I am on the right path.' Soon, his colleagues, friends and fans took to the comments section of the post to ask him why it has happened or what they believe may have caused it. Actor Gulshan Devaiah wrote, 'Again ? Aiyyo! Why this time?' To this, actor Ashwin Mushran replied, 'No idea. But it looks like it's blocked only here.' Where one wrote, 'End of Democracy', another said, 'you can't raise your voice in Nation against the Government.' 'They can’t tame strong minds with strong will no matter what. More power to you sir', one commented. Where one said, 'Don't stop sir, you are doing a bravest work', another wrote, 'This is outrageous'. Earlier, in February, Sushant's Twitter account got suspended for allegedly spreading misinformation during the farmers' protests. Even then, his account was withheld in response to legal demands. At that time, former 'Bigg Boss' contestant Tehnseen Poonawalla had slammed Twitter India for taking such a step against Sushant. He tweeted, 'Well someone I know as a strong voice against the atrocities of the Present government, @sushant_says, his account has been blocked by @TwitterIndia. @sushant_says was leading the fight against abusive, Twitter handles that spew hate & threaten women. Stunned @_sayema.'
