Singer, actress and TV personality Sofia Hayat entered the 'Bigg Boss' house in season 7. A wild card entry, she joined the show midway and was quite a controversial figure during her stint in the house. After getting evicted, she also pressed charges of assault on fellow contestant Armaan Kohli. The same Armaan is currently making news after he was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday in a drug case. Now, reacting to the news of his arrest, Sofia has said that she and the actor have, in fact, patched up after he asked for 'forgiveness'. Speaking to ETimes, Sofia said, 'Recently, Armaan reached out to me through a mutual friend to ask for my forgiveness. I was quite shocked. But later I considered his request and made peace with him. He promised to become a better person and had changed, and was sorry for what happened during 'Bigg Boss'. I trusted him and gave him a second chance. But, I also told him that he is setting an example for youngsters and that he must encourage them to do good and not be violent towards women. I told him he could really do this if we reconciled in public, sending the message out to people, thereby becoming exemplary.' Reacting to Armaan's recent arrest, the actress said, 'Hearing the news about drugs in his house, now I wonder if his apology was for real. But, I think he meant it at the time, though yet again his behaviour currently is showing his lack of respect for his position.' Sofia, who discovered spirituality in recent years, continued to talk about Armaan and the probability of him hurting from inside. She added, 'Anyone who takes drugs is hurting inside. As a healer, I forgive him and welcome him to come to me for healing. Anyone who hurts others are expressing their own inner fear and insecurity. I hope and pray that he comes out of whatever darkness and pain fills his heart. We live in a world where we have the choice to choose the light or the dark. When you choose the light, miracles and glory will follow you.'
