As days go by, estranged couple Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli seem more and more comfortable about revealing additional details on why their marriage went downhill and how the kids are involved in their tiff. After Shweta made some explosive statements alleging Abhinav had threatened to ruin her reputation by putting social media posts, now Abhinav has come forward to share his side of the story. Speaking to Zoom Digital, referencing to Shweta's comment about how their 4-year-old son Reyansh came to know about cops owing to their public battle, the estranged husband asked if it was him or Shweta who had to call the police 'as a muscle power' to try and dissuade him from going to her place. He spoke about how the condition of men all over the world is the same wherein they could be thrown out of the house and barred from sleeping with the child as per the wishes of the lady of the house. He called the situation 'cruel'. Abhinav said, 'Every time, I would try and go, you (Shweta) would call the police, so how does he (Reyansh) learn about the police? I mean, I don't know what to say.' When asked if he and Shweta had ever tried to resolve their differences for the sake of their kid, he said that while he tries to talk civilly and wants Reyansh to decide if he wants to be with him or his mother, Shweta isn't being supportive. He further claimed that he has always told Shweta that they should talk normally in front of their child. He added, 'There are a lot of things only a father can teach his son. There are a lot of things that I can only tell him about. Why would you separate? When she had got COVID-19 virus and the child was with me, I took video, where she was in the house with the baby, I have never stopped her ever from meeting the child.' He asked, 'Why does Shweta stop me then?'
