Nandini of 'Anupamaa' aka Anagha Bhosale has bid adieu to the popular TV show saying she wants time to focus on her spiritual journey. Anagha, who played the role of classical dancer Nandini, has returned to her hometown Pune. The gorgeous actress recently took to her social media handle and shared a couple of happy pics of herself with a backpack and a travel pillow. Announcing that she is on her first solo trip to Jagannath Puri, Anagha captioned the post as, 'If you never go, you’ll never know….some journeys are meant to be solo', followed by hashtags Hare Krishna and solo trip amongst a few others. A while ago, during an interview with ETimes, Anagha had described herself as a 'very spiritual person' and revealed, 'After stepping into the industry, I realised that the industry was the opposite of what I expected. There’s politics, unhealthy competition, the race to look good and reed-thin all the time, and pressure to post on social media constantly. If you don’t do these things, you are left behind. These things didn’t gel with my thought process.' Adding further she stated, 'I couldn’t relate to the double standards in showbiz and the pressure to be something that you are not. It is filled with hypocrisy. I want to pursue my religious beliefs and attain a sense of peace and contentment in my life.' The actress however said that she is only taking a break and not quitting the profession. Talking about her decision Anagha stated that she will come back whenever 'Anupamaa' producer Ranjan Shahi feels the need. Anagha said, 'I have not officially announced my decision to quit showbiz, because you should never say never. But I do feel that eventually, I would want to quit acting.'For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
