Many people warned me against taking up the role of a transgender in Shakti: Jigyasa Singh

TV actress Jigyasa Singh, who entered Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki after the generation leap to play the role of Heer (a transgender) in the show, says that many people told her not to accept the character as she might not be shown beautiful in the show. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, the actress reveals why she accepted the role and also talked about her first role of Thapki. Jigyasa also shared about the fun she has on the sets with her co-stars especially her on-screen brothers. She shared that the back-to-back news reports of shows going off-air made her nervous and that she was constantly in touch with her cast. The actress also talked about resuming the shoots with new guidelines.
