Aasha Malviya, a national level sportsperson and mountaineer from a village in Madhya Pradesh, received a pleasant surprise during her all-India bicycle tour. After cycling for 11,620 kilometers through 13 states, she reached Kolkata, where West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose gifted her a new cycle to continue her journey. Malviya aims to complete a 25,000 km journey across India before ending her tour in Delhi on August 15, Independence Day. She started her journey on November 1, 2022, with a message of women's safety and empowerment. However, after riding for 163 days, she has realized that India is not unsafe for women. Malviya expressed her appreciation for the governor's gift, stating that the cycle she had been using until then was a basic one and that the new cycle would make her journey smoother. Malviya's journey is a testament to the power of determination and the love for adventure.
