Uttarkashi tunnel rescue operation: Vertical drilling machines arrive at top of Silkyara tunnel

In a major relief regarding Uttarkashi tunnel rescue operation, vertical drilling machines were brought at top of Silkyara tunnel. This came after the Auger machine broke down earlier today. The rescue operation of 41 trapped men today faced major hurdle as the Auger machine blades stuck inside tunnel debris after which manual drilling will be started from tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, NDMA said that the rescue operation of trapped workers may take more time.
