President Droupadi Murmu today addressed the nation on the eve of India's 74th Republic Day. During her maiden Republic Day eve speech, President Murmu said, “India has been among fastest-growing major economies. This has been made possible by timely and pro-active interventions from government.” President Murmu also touched upon several issues like women’s empowerment, gender equality, Atmanirbhar Bharat, climate change, among others.
