Wrestlers’ protest continued at Jantar Mantar against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on May 07. Delhi Police placed an ‘Ikshana’ van at Jantar Mantar. It is a mobile CCTV control room having 13 HD cameras with 360 degree coverage. Notably, wrestlers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar for over 10 days demanding the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh. They are also demanding his removal from the post in light of allegations of sexual harassment by the wrestlers. According to an SKM statement, several leaders of the organisation from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh will visit the protest site at Jantar Mantar on May 7 and extend support to the protesting wrestlers.
