Gwalior zoo welcomed two tiger cubs on 31 August 2021. White tigress Mira gave birth to a yellow and a white cub. The newborn cubs are currently being looked after by the zoo authorities. Mira, who was also born in the same zoo, had given birth to 3 cubs back in 2018. After the birth of these cubs, the number of tigers in the park has reached eight, four each white and yellowish in colour. They will be kept in isolation for 40 days to ensure they don't contract any infection. One of the cubs is healthy, while the other one seems unhealthy, said zoo officials. Mira on the other hand is being served light food like chicken soup, boiled eggs etc..
