Modi government's reign witnessed 100 Days of unrest in Manipur: Women were raped, says Priyanka Chaturvedi
Priyanka Chaturvedi, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and MP, said that the people of Manipur rejected the Congress party, but the Modi government has not been able to bring peace to the state. According to her, the people chose not to elect Congress, but Prime Minister Modi was unable to establish peace in Manipur, pointing out the insensitive Chief Minister of the state. Chaturvedi stated, "During the tenure of the Modi government at the center, Manipur experienced 100 days of violence, including instances of sexual assault against women, leading to deep divisions within the entire community." Chaturvedi further noted that Prime Minister Modi appeared perturbed by the unity of opposition parties coming together as a united front.
